KompetansePluss Arbeid (KPA) is an initiative from the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) aimed at improving basic skills among employees in reading, writing, math, and digital competence. The program is specifically targeted at adults with low formal education and offers a variety of modules to choose from. As an approved provider of KPA, Alfaskolen offers Norwegian language training within this framework and delivers courses that meet all program requirements.

Course Content

The course can consist of up to 150 hours and focuses on Norwegian as a second language, tailored to your company’s needs and work-related contexts. The training does not teach job-specific skills, but strengthens communication, comprehension, and confidence in everyday workplace situations.
