Norwegian writing course – write better for work and studies
Norwegian writing course · B1–B2 · live online or in central Oslo
You speak Norwegian and understand most things. But when you need to write a report, an e-mail to a customer or an assignment, it gets difficult. In this course you learn to write clear, well-structured texts in Norwegian – with guidance and written feedback from your teacher.
- Understand the task: Learn what “beskriv”, “forklar” and “drøft” mean – and answer what is actually asked.
- Write with structure: An introduction, good paragraphs and a conclusion that hang together.
- Write professionally: The right tone, professional vocabulary and clear reasoning.

Does this sound familiar?
- You know your subject, but cannot get it down on paper in Norwegian.
- You read the assignment and are unsure what you are actually supposed to do.
- Your text becomes a list of sentences, not a text that hangs together.
- You use translation tools or AI, but do not know if the result is correct.
- You avoid writing e-mails and reports at work because you are afraid of mistakes.
You are not alone. Speaking Norwegian and writing well in Norwegian are two different skills. This course is about the second one.
What you will learn
Before and after: how your text improves
School assignment: “Explain why planning is important in a project.”
Work: e-mail to a customer about a delayed delivery
Hei. Varene kommer ikke i dag. Det er problem med transport. Vi sender kanskje neste uke. Sorry.
Hei!
Opinion and reasons: “Should more people work from home?”
