Practical Norwegian lessons vary from day to day from conversation, self study, project work, and language lab. Conversation sessions focus on pronunciation, and the teacher is present to correct and guide students through conversations. For self study, students are split up into small groups to work independently with various tasks such as grammar, texts, etc. Project work focuses on working on various projects in small groups, in order to improve everyday Norwegian.
