The course includes individual and group work, discussions, listening exercises, and homework. The course focuses on Chapters 1 to 5 of the book "Her på Berget". Participants of this course begin studies at level B2 based on language levels as described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Sessions are taught in Norwegian from day 1, so no English knowledge is required. This means that using the language is a must from day 1, which leads to a faster progression.
After completing the course, participants will be able to speak more fluidly using more advanced phrases, verb conjugations, and descriptions. They will use more complex sentence structures and use more sophisticated language. Transactions and conversations will be easier and they will more easily understand and speak Norwegian with less strain. They will begin to vary their word choice based on their development of a broader vocabulary.
Sessions are held twice a week on mondays and wednesdays, tuesdays and thursdays, or fridays and saturdays. Each session consists of 3 lesson hours for a total of 30 lesson hours. The course is about five weeks long with a total of 10 lessons. Each lesson hour is 45 minutes.
